Shinzaburo Takeda - Familia Oaxaquena
This amazing etching was created in 2013 by Japanese Mexican painter and printmaker, Shinazburo Takeda. It is created using the Aguafuete technique.
Shinzaburo is considered one of Oaxaca's most important artists. He has lived in Mexico for over fofty years and trained several generations of Mexican artists, many of them indigenous Zapotecs and Mixtecs. Since 1980, Takeda as served as chair of the Department of Art at the Universidad Autonoma "Benito Juarez" in Oaxaca.
