Sylvia Avenius Ford, New Paintings
April 2010
COSAS is thrilled to have new work by Sylvia Avenius Ford. Sylvia spent most of her childhood in South America, Africa, Europe and many points in between. She was heavily influenced not only by the cultures she found there, but also the Hispanic atmosphere of San Antonio, TX where she lived for thirty years, raising two sons and teaching. Residing now in Northern New Mexico with her husband and four dogs, Sylvia has found the area has added a treasure trove of subject matter for her whimsical creations.
