Parade of Artists in Boerne

Boerne’s annual Parade of Artists will take place April 23-25. Come into COSAS and meet artist Sylvia Avenius Ford Friday evening from 6-9pm, sip some wine and enjoy antojitos compliments of El Chaparell Restaurant. The “Taste of Boerne” event will be hosted at more than 10 locations around town. Saturday, enjoy studio and gallery tours all day. And, Sunday, enjoy brunch from 11-5 at all participating locations. Guides available at most galleries and the Boerne Convention and Visitors Center.

Join COSAS at our next event as we highlight the works of Folk Art masters each Second Saturday.

Paintings, etchings, photography or jewelry that compliment our huge selection of one of a kind Latin folk art are displayed and sold. Works by Jose Luis Cuevas, Alejandro Colunga, Raymundo Gonzalez, and many other known artists are on display. Special concurso folk art pieces are also often featured.

Opening receptions coincide with Boerne’s Second Saturday Art and Wine weekend events. 5 PM to 8 PM at the COSAS store 1109 S. Main St.

Second Saturday in Boerne is composed of an eclectic collection of galleries and "other walls" featuring an evolving presentation of art in all media. You will find contemporary works and Mexican and Latin American folk art, as well as more traditional fare represented in the works of an array of artists throughout this charming hill country town. A complimentary trolley as well as wine and hors d'oeuvres at many locations make this a must see arts destination each and every "Second Saturday"...
