Prundencia is the master of the Mascaras de Tastoan.  He is consistently the winner of all competitions and has numerous pieces in the Museo de Mascaras in Tonala.  These masks are used in traditional dances at the Fiestas in the pueblos.  They are made of horse hide, then covered and decorated; then adorned with horse tail for hair.  The traditional dance is made up of 12 individuals that represent the Spanish Conquistadors vs. the Indigenous people of the area.
